How to wear it

This is the set to wear gold with. A fine chain, jhumkas, and flats in the day; heels or embellished juttis in the evening. Pastel brown also takes an ivory or deep green dupatta well if you want to dress it up for a function.

Sizes go by bust measurement in inches. Measure around the fullest part of your bust with a tape and pick the nearest size.

The kurti is a straight fit in regular length with side slits. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one.

Care

• Dry clean only. Roman silk does not take a home wash — water marks the surface and the sheen goes flat.
• Store on a hanger rather than folded
• If you press it, use low heat with a cloth between the iron and the fabric

Is roman silk real silk?
No. Roman silk is the name of the fabric, not a claim about its content. It has the soft sheen and the drape people want from silk, at a fraction of the price. We would rather say that plainly than let you assume otherwise.

Does this set come with a dupatta?
No. This is a two-piece set: the kurti and the pant.

Are the pants the same colour as the kurti?
Yes, the pants match.

Can I wash it at home?
No, this one is dry clean only.

What do the numbers next to the sizes mean?
They are bust measurements in inches. M - 38 means the size fits a 38 inch bust.

Which size should I order?
Measure around the fullest part of your bust and pick the nearest number. If you fall between two sizes, take the larger one.

How long is the kurti?
It is a regular length straight kurti. We do not list an exact measurement for this style, so if the length matters to you, message us on WhatsApp and we will measure the actual piece before it ships.

Is the embroidery hand done?
The work is machine embroidery, done neatly and finished by hand.

What jewellery goes with pastel brown?
Gold looks especially good against it. Pearls work too.

What are side slits?
Openings at the lower sides of the kurti so it moves freely when you walk or sit.

Is this a festive set or a daily one?
Both. The sheen lifts it for an occasion and the colour is quiet enough for the office.

Can I exchange it if the size is wrong?
Yes, a size exchange can be raised within 24 hours of delivery and the garment shipped back by Speed Post within 24 to 48 hours. At the moment we do not arrange a pickup, so you send it back yourself, and we cover the forward shipping on the exchange.
